In January we delivered the work booklets for Vacaciones Re-utiles. A program developed by Peru Te Quiero and MINEDU in order to prepare children for the start of the school year. Our organization was invited to be part of this initiative, thus benficing 40 children from the community. The program lasted a total of 8 weeks, and approximately 44 hours of counseling were invested in each child with the support of 21 volunteers. Peru Te Quiero is an organization that works on different issues such as nutrition, welfare and education among others in the country, we hope to continue working with them in the future to continue to promote the education of children in Peru.
